Американская команда Bella Morte была образована в штате Виржиния в 1996 Andy Deane и Gopal Metro. За десять лет своего существования ребята выпустили ряд полноценных альбомов и ЕР балансирующих на грани таких стилей как pop punk, post punk, а также death rock и gothic rock. Их последний, на сегодняшний день, диск «Bleed The Grey Sky Black», записанный для крупного готик-индустриального лейбла Metropolis records увидел свет в 2006 году. На новом альбоме музыканты продолжили развитие в выбранном направлении смешивая элементы панка, рока, метала и мрачной электроники. Несмотря на то, что начинается диск ни шатко, ни валко, с сумбурной композиции «On the Edge», в которой проявляются несколько отталкивающие nu-metal элементы, уже следующая песня «Torn» задает достаточно высокий энергетический потенциал, особенно ярко выраженный также в таких треках как «Bleed Again» и «As the Storm Unfolds», в свою очередь на композициях типа «Dust» и «An Enemy Without» напряжение несколько спадает, оставляя слушателю время передохнуть и поразмышлять.
Таким образом, музыкальное наполнение «BTGSB» достаточно разнообразно как по звучанию (подчеркнутому то клавишными пассажами и электронными семплами, то симфо-фрагментами, то металлическими рифами, то панк-безбашенностью ударных), так и по эмоциональной окраске, акцентированной разнообразием используемых вокалов: от то хриплого то глубокого чистого голоса Andy Deane, до женских бэков Lauren Hoffman. В целом альбом «BTGSB» можно охарактеризовать как интересную, разноплановую работу, способную привлечь внимание широких слове меломанов от мрачных готов до поклонников позитивного рок-н-ролла.
