Bettie Serveert - Биография

Bettie Serveert - голландская инди-рок группа. Их название переводится как «Бетти подает». Оно было взято из телевизионной программы, ведущей которой была голландская теннисистка Бетти Стове.
Учасники группы: Кароль фон Дик (вокал, гитара), Петер Виссер (гитара), Герман Бунскёке (бас) и Беренд Дуббе (ударные). Группа образовалась в 1986 году и распалась после первого же концерта. В 1990 они вновь собрались вместе и в 1992 году выпустили дебютный альбом Palomine, который получил сдержанные рецензии со стороны критиков, но был гораздо теплее встречен любителями альтернативной музыки.
Три года спустя последовал альбом Lamprey, получивший лучшие отзывы и позволивший им выступать вместе с Belly, Dinosaur Jr., Buffalo Tom, Superchunk, Come и Jeff Buckley.
После выхода третьего альбома Dust Bunnies (1997) и альбома кавер-версий песен Velvet Underground, Беренд Дуббе покинул группу. Он сделал это из-за творческих разногласий и позже создал группу Bauer.
На последующих альбомах (Private Suit, Log 22, Attagirl, Bare Stripped Naked) роль ударников исполняли разные музыканты. Среди них был и Рейнар Фельдман, который играл на барабанах в De Artsen - группе которая была прототипом Bettie Serveert.
В настоящее время Bettie Serveert продолжают активно гастролировать по Западной Европе и Северной Америке.
