macrocosm

Praise the God of our salvation;

Тематика творчества Deathspell Omega - признание Сатаны (Diabolus Absconditus) божественной сущностью и утверждение места Дьяволопоклонничества на религиозном и метафизическом уровне, что, стоит отметить, не имеет ровным счетом ничего общего с сатанизмом в его расхожем, антропоцентрическом понятии.
Deathspell Omega (DSO) была создана во Франции в 1998 году участниками Hirilorn: Hasjarl (гитара) и Shaxul (вокал, ударные).
В 2003 году из-за мировоззренческих разногласий Shaxul покидает DSO, и его место занимает Mikko Aspa, преимущественно известный по проектам Clandestine Blaze, Stabat Mater и Grunt, а также как владелец лейблов Northern Heritage и Freak Animal.
Hasjarl является владельцем лэйбла End All Life Productions и,наряду с MkM (Antaeus), одним из отцов-основателей французского лэйбла Norma Evangelium Diaboli.
