Flowing Tears - Биография

Flowing Tears — немецкая группа, играющая в стиле gothic metal, образованная в 1994 году в Вадгассене (нем. Wadgassen).

Первоначально группа называлась Flowing Tears & Withered Flowers. Под этим названием они выпустили первые два альбома: Swansongs и Joy Parade. На альбоме Swansongs мужской вокал обеспечил Manfred Bersin.

После выпуска альбома Jade, группа немного ускорила темп композиций, приобретя менее депрессивное звучание.

Stefanie Duchne покинула группу после релиза Serpentine, из-за беременности. Сейчас она работает над своей сольной карьерой. Новой вокалисткой стала Helen Vogt. Выпущенный в 2004 году студийный альбом, Razorbliss, имеет много общего с предыдущим релизом, как в плане звучания, так и вокала.

Спустя 7 месяцев после релиза Razorbliss двое основателей группы, гитарист Bjrn Lorson и ударник Cristian Zimmer погибли в автокатастрофе.

В 2007 году группа выпустила концертный альбом Invanity - Live in Berlin.
В 2008-м — студийный альбом Thy Kingdom Gone.
