Hades Almighty - Биография

Hades Almighty — блэк-метал группа из Норвегии, основанная в 1992 году гитаристом Йорном Инге Тунсбергом и барабанщиком Реми. Первоначальное название группы было просто Hades.

Это великолепный эпический блэк с инфернальной и, отчасти, языческой (естественно в отношении к злым богам) лирикой. Скопировано с Dark-World.ru. Если говорить в общем, то музыка напоминает Burzum и Bathory начала 90-х, но с большим уклоном в тёмную атмосферу. Помимо этого Hades являются одними из первых блэкеров, наряду с Burzum, которые стали использовать эмбиентные трэки в своём творчестве.

Творчество группы 1999-2002 года, судя по рецензиям на последних альбомах стало более блэковым, менее эпическим.

Hades Almighty были не очень равнодушны к ролевым играм, о чём нам говорят их фотографии, где каждый запечетлён кто в кольчуге, кто с мечом. Очевидно они были одни из тех бергенцев, с которыми Варг участвовал в подобных занятиях, о которых он рассказывал в своих интервью.

В 1993 году Йорн Тунсберг вместе с музыкантом Варгом Винкерсом из Burzum был арестован за сожжение церкви в городе Берген. В 1994 году вышел дебютный альбом "…again shall be", после чего произошли некоторые изменения в составе.

В 1997 году вышел второй альбом "Dawn of the Dying Sun", и группа была вынуждена сменить название на Hades Almighty, в связи с тем, что уже существовала американская группа с названием Hades. После смены названия группа принялась за работу над новым альбомом.

В 1999 группа выпустила альбом "Millenium Nocturne" на лейбле Hammerheart Records и отправилась гастролировать по Европе с такими группами, как Immortal и Mayhem. Четвёртый альбом, "The Pulse of Decay", был выпущен в 2001 году.

В 2004 году лейбл Dark Essence Records выпустил переиздание "The Pulse of Decay". С того момента Hades Almighty практически бездействовали.

Весной 2014 года группа возобновила свой контракт с Dark Essence Records и планирует выпустить новый альбом.
