Iron & Wine - псевдоним фолкового композитора и исполнителя Сэма Бима (Sam Beam). За свою музыкальную карьеру Сэм выпустил три студийных альбома и несколько синглов.

Музыкальная карьера.
Свой первый альбом The Creek Drank the Cradle Сэм выпустил на лейбле Sub Pop в 2002 году. Он написал, исполнил и записал каждую песню с этого альбома в собственной домашней студии. Сэм использует в своих песнях, главным образом, акустическую гитару и банджо. Его музыку можно сравнить с Nick Drake, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young и Elliott Smith. Стиль можно характеризовать как alt-country, progressive folk или indie folk.
Второй альбом Our Endless Numbered Days был записан уже в профессиональной студии в 2004 году при участии Браиана Дека (Brian Deck), который выступил в роли продюссера. Основной упор, как и прежде, делался на аккустическом звуке, но, благодаря влиянию других членов группы, звучание несколько изменилось.
