Kill Hannah – рок-группа из Чикаго, штат Иллинойс, в настоящее время подписавшая контракт с Atlantic Records. Kill Hannah была образована вокалистом и автором песен Мэтом Девайном в 1994 г. С 1996 по 2003 Kill Hannah независимо выпустили 8 синглов и номерных альбомов, все из которых были быстро распроданы многочисленными тиражами.
Бывшая девушка вокалиста Мэта – тёзка группы. Они встретились в Государственном университете Иллинойса во время единственного семестра, когда Мэт обучался там. У них начались бурные и странные отношения, которые закончились таким же образом. В это время Мэт пел и играл на гитаре в группе, которая называлась «In a Jar UK». После ссоры с Ханной Мэт отпечатал наклейки на записи «In a Jar UK», содержащие название «Убей Ханну». Известно, что существует около 700 копий без стикера и около 20-ти – со стикером “Kill Hannah”.
Kill Hannah записали свою первую запись на Atlantic Records под названием «For Never and Ever» в Лос-Анжелесе зимой 2003 г. с продюсером Шоном Бивэном (No Doubt, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails) и ди-джеем Тимом Палмером (U2, The Cure, Tears for Fears). Альбом в основном содержал перезаписанные версии старых песен и номеров, исполнявшихся живьём в предшествующие годы. Песня «Kennedy» была в ротации на радио, а также было снято видео группы на песню «Unwanted», но было решено не выпускать его до 2006 г. и оно существовало лишь в Интернет-версии.
Большую часть 2003 и 2004 гг. Kill Hannah провели в турах с Chevelle,HIM и The Sounds, а также выступали на разогреве у Evanescence, Jane’s Addiction, Everclear, Eve 6, The All-American Rejects, Fuel, P.O.D., The Distillers, Story of the Year, Three Days Grace, Alien Ant Farm, The Buzzcocks, Andrew W.K., Trapt и у многих других. Сингл «Kennedy» дебютировал на второй строчке modern rock radio, был исполнен на «Last Call with Carson Daly» и звучал в таких телевизионных шоу, как Jack & Bobby, One Tree Hill и North Shore.
Kill Hannah подписали контракт с Atlantic Records в конце 2002 г. , которая сейчас поддерживает их тур Cursing in Braille вместе с Mindless Self Indulgence. Группа выпустила свой второй альбом «Until There’s Nothing Left For Us» на Atlantic Records 1 августа 2006 г.
