Machinae Supremacy - Биография

— шведская группа из города Lule, играющая индастриал-метал с элементами мелодичного хард-рока, пауэр-метала и альтернативного рока. Сами они называют свой стиль SID-Metal из-за использования SidStation, построенной на базе знаменитого чипа Sound Interface Device от Commodore 64, с которым и связано своеобразное звучание их музыки.
MaSu образовалась в [year]2000[/year] году. По состоянию на 2012 они выпустили пять полноценных альбомов и несколько сборников внеальбомных треков.
Успех и мировую известность группа получила благодаря написанию саундтрека к игре в 2004 году. До этого группа выпустила свой первый альбом 1 мая 2004 г., затем последовали весьма тяжелый и скоростной (18.03.2006), (13.02.2008), получившийся более мелодичным, чем предыдущие их творения. Начиная с этого альбома, изданного лейблом Spinefarm Records, заметно постоянное повышение мастерства группы в целом и вокалиста в частности. Ещё дальше в направлении мелодизма продвинулся новый альбом , в котором использование SID-чипа достигло пика — и нельзя сказать, что это стало во вред.
