Saves The Day - рок-группа, образовалась в 1994 году в городе Принстон, штат Нью-Джерси.
Цитата участников группы об их музыке: - «I was getting into Superchunk, Sunny Day Real Estate, Archers of Loaf, Jawbreaker …, ” Conley recalls. “We would play as hard and fast as we possibly could without losing the melody.»
Сначала группа носила название Sefler, а к концу 1997 году стали называться Saves The Day. В 1998 году вышел дебютный альбом группы «Can’t Slow Down», в это время участники коллектива учились в университетах. В 1999 году вышел мини-альбом «I’m Sorry I’m Leaving». Позже вышел второй альбом «Through Being Cool».
В 2001 году вышел альбом «Stay What You Are». После успеха этого альбома группа подписала контракт с лейблом Dreamworks Records. В 2003 году вышел альбом «In Reverie». В 2004 году вышел альбом «Ups and Downs: Early Recordings and B-Sides». В этом же году умирает бассист Sean McGrath от рака. Весь год группа не дает концертов и проводит в студии.
В начале 2005 году начинают работу над новым альбомом. В октябре 2005 года выходит альбом «Sound The Alarm», а в январе 2006 года переиздают альбом на лейбле Vagrant. Также выпускают мини-альбом «Bug Sessions Volume One».
С конца 2006 по начало 2007 годов Saves The Day отправляются в турне в поддержку альбома «Sound The Alarm». В феврале 2007 года анонсируют выход нового альбома «Under the Boards», который появляется в продаже 30 октября 2007 года.
