«Мастера черной романтики», как называют этих немецких хэви-метал-ветеранов фэны и критики, играют музыку уже 20 лет, но за все эти годы удача никогда не поворачивалась к ним лицом. Первые пять альбомов Stormwitch считаются классикой тяжелой музыки, но из-за кабального контракта с лейблом Gama Records музыканты не получили от них ни славы, ни денег. Последующие два альбома, выпущенные уже на другой фирме, получились столь противоречивыми, что до сих пор вызывают дебаты среди фэнов. Неудивительно, что возникшие в результате музыкальные разногласия и личные конфликты в 1996 году довели группу до распада, а когда в 2002 году Stormwitch возродились, от оригинального состава остался только вокалист Энди Мюк. Альбом “Dance With The Witches” моментально привлек к группе внимание, но шанс на серьезный прорыв появился у них только сейчас, с подписанием контракта с могучим лейблом Nuclear Blast и записью очередного диска “Witchcraft”.
