Theatres Des Vampires - Биография
Группа появилась в 1994 году ведомая Лордом Вампиром. Поначалу группа ориентировалась на Vampire Black Metal.
Лорду пришлось расстаться со многими неверными, покидавшими веселую вампирскую семейку один за другим и утрачивавшими статус бессмертных.
В 1994 вышла промо-запись «Nosferatu, Eine Simphonie Des Grauens». Запись получила много положительных откликов и была распродана в считанные дни.
Далее Лорд заключает контракт с лейблом GARDEN OF GRIEF, на котором в 1995 году выходит первый полноформатник «Vampyrisme, necrophilie,necrosadisme, necrophagie».
И вот в процессе записи начинаются побеги из группы, и к моменту выхода альбома Лорд Вампир остается в одиночестве. Но Лорд не отчаивается и набирает новых людей… то есть вампиров…
Год 1999. группа сменяет лейбл на Alkaid Records, и издают второй альбом «The Vampire Chronicles», вышедший в 2000 г. К группе примыкает Тim Fraser (Christian Death).
В 2000 году было подписано соглашение с лейблом Blackend (являющейся сублейблом Plastic Head, Великобритания). В 2001 году вышел альбом «Bloody Lunatic Asylum», в честь чего состоялась буйная вампирская оргия. Недолго заставил себя ждать следующий релиз «Iubilaeum Anno Dracula», приуроченный к юбилею Графа Дракулы, идейного вдохновителя Лорда Вампира.
В 2002 выходит «Suicide Vampire», в который входит песня «Queen of the Damned», написанная по одноименному роману Энн Райс. После небольшого перерыва, разбавленного концертами по всей Европе, группа выпускает свой шестой альбом “Nightbreed of Macabria”, новый альбом был очень красивым по своему звучанию - смесь готичной музыки и вокалов Лорда и Скарлет.
После выхода “Nightbreed of Macabria» Лорд решает покинуть группу и заняться сольным творчеством… и уже меньше чем через год выходит его сольный альбом Lord Vampyr “De Vampiryca Filosophia”.
Тем временем группа взялась за запись своего нового детища, и уже в ноябре 2005 года выходит альбом «Pleasure And Pain». После ухода Лорда группа полностью сменила стиль… исчезли элементы Блэка, Theatres des Vampires начали играть вампирский horror gothic metal с женским вокалом. Все тексты песен написала Скарлет. Кроме родных участников, в записи приняли участие такие музыканты как: Flegias (Necrodeath), Dhiloz (Ancient), Nicholas (Ensoph) и Giampaolo (Stormlord). Ремикс на песню Pleasure And Pain оформил Bruno Kramm (Das Ich)
