Музыкальная группа Little Dragon была основана в Гетеборге, Швеция, закадычными школьными друзьями - Юкими Нагано (вокалистка), Эрик Боден (барабаны), Фридрих Кьйолгрен (бас) и Хэкан Уиренстенд (клавишные). Первым релизом группы был сингл Off The Wall.
Нагано родилась в городе Гетеборге. Ее отец-японец и мать-американка растили дочь, приучая слушать американский фолк, но несмотря на это она всегда была склонна к RnB.
