Bill Monroe - Биография

Уильям Смит Монро (1911 - 1996) великий американский музыкант и исполнитель на мандолине.
В 1945 году основал группу «Blue Grass Boys» которую он назвал в честь своего родного штата Кентукки.
Музыка группы заложила основы стиля блюграсс и внесла самый значительный вклад в американский фолк и кантри.
