Фред Астер (англ. Fred Astaire; настоящее имя Frederick Austerlitz — Фредерик Аустерлиц; 1899—1987) — американский актёр театра и кино, танцор, хореограф и певец, звезда Голливуда, один из величайших мастеров музыкального жанра в кино. Его театральная и кинематографическая карьера охватывает период в 76 лет, в течение которого Астер снялся в 31 музыкальном фильме. Его имя часто упоминается вместе с именем Джинджер Роджерс, с которой он снялся в 10 фильмах, которые перевернули жанр музыкальной комедии.
