it's a fascinating diatribe of great proportions

however I would prefer to punch my own head

Frenzal Rhomb - Биография

В начале 1994 года парни (Jay - Vocals, Nat - Drums, Ben Costello - Guitar, Lex - bass ) создают группу под названием Frenzal Rhomb. Название группы происходит из названия светопреломляющей коробки (Fresnel Rhomb) изобретенной французским ученым Огастусом Фреснелом (Augustus Fresnel).
Зимой 1994 ребята выступили на серевнованиях университетских банд и заняли 2е место. После этого группа приехала на студию Camperdown поработать над трибутом для самих себя, получившим довольно забавное название «Dick Sandwich».

В 1995 выходит дебютный альбом «Coughing Up A Storm». Тут определенно больше треков чем в Dick Sandwich, лучшее звучание и большая стоимость. На альбоме присутсвтовала песня, которую Fat Mike с NOFX играет для своих детей перед сном - Cones. Фет Майк был поражен австралийским квартетом…так они попали на Fat Wreck Chords, где выпустили 7дюймовку «Four Litres», которая розошлась по всему миру.

Группа начинает активно кататся в туры по Австралии и Новой Зеландии с такими бандами, как Offspring, Propagandhi, SNFU, You Am I, NOFX, и The Meanies, и выступать на множестве фэстов, таких как: Homebake, Livid, Pushover & Big Day Out.
Потом настал тяжелый период - Ben Costello, решил покинуть группу. Сейчас Ben работает директором «Animal Liberation», поддерживая тесные связи с группой - ребята есть строгимим противники мясной индустрии и жестокости по отношению к животным.
