Oh, Sleeper - Биография

христианская метал-кор группа, были основаны в апреле 2006 года в Форт-Уэрт, (Техас, Соединённые Штаты), после того, как участники существовавшей недолго команды Terminal встретились с основателем Between the Buried and Me, гитаристом Шейном Блеем и основателем Terminal, бас-гитаристом Лукасом Старром (играл также в As Cities Burn). После появления в коллективе вокалиста Мика Кинарда, состав был окончательно укомплектован, после чего команда начинает усиленно репетировать.

Почти мгновенно у 4 участников коллектива начали появляться стандартные для начинающей группы проблемы (нет места для репетиций, нет денег и другие обстоятельства). Но главной проблемой стали поиски последнего участника коллектива. Бесконечные, ничего не давшие, пробы в итоге свелись к тому, что вторым гитаристом ребят стал их старый друг, бывший гитарист Terminal, Джеймс Эрвин. После его прихода в команду, Oh, Sleeper выпускают дебютный ЕР, названный «The Armored March». Вскоре после его выхода команда подписала контракт с «Solid State Records» летом 2007 года.

С того времени группа усиленно гастролирует, и совсем недавно выпустила дебютный альбом, получивший название «When I Am God», продюсером которого выступил Андреас Магнуссон (гитарист Scarlet, The Agony Scene, Spitfire). Релиз появился на прилавках музыкальных магазинов 23 октября 2007 года. Последним альбомом группы на данный момент является «Children of Fire» выпущенный в 2011 году.
