Aries - Biography
Aries, born in Kansas on April 18, 1998, and hailing from Southern California, currently holds over 35 million total views and more than 350,000 subscribers on his growing YouTube channel. He has been making videos since 2012; most of them are beat tutorials or challenges, of which the resulting beats are posted to his secondary SoundCloud page, WUNDERWORLD. He has just recently started releasing full-length songs under his WUNDERWORLD label (formally Chapter 9) the majority of which are all sung, written, and produced by him.
He released his debut album WELCOME HOME on 18 April, 2019. The album features some of his most popular songs which are, “RACECAR,” “CAROUSEL” and “SAYONARA.” It was well-received by fans alike and led to his first tour named after the album.
When he was interviewed by Liam C for XINTYN he revealed the origin of his name stating:
I just like the name Aries for how it sounds and what it stands for. I’m not into zodiac signs really but hearing the attributes of an Aries kinda just clicked with me I guess and ya' I am an Aries.
Along with this he also mentioned his earliest musical influences:
My earliest music influence that I found on my own would probably be bands like Linkin Park, System of a Down and Papa Roach I’d watch AMVs of naruto and DBZ when I was in elementary school and they always had their songs playing in them.
