Biography:

Tfemi is a breakout rap and hiphop artist from New Jersey, Oluwafemi Taiwo. Born in Brooklyn, NY, the 21-year old spent most of his childhood in Nigeria before moving back to the greater Philadelphia area. Best known for his single “Wonderful” and mixtape “Goat Mode”Tfemi pulls his musical inspiration from artists such as Young Thug Xxxtentacion, Rich homie quan, Samtakesoff & Lil Wayne.
Forging connections in the local game, Tfemi linked up with heavy-hitter producers in the Newark and Paterson, New Jersey areas to start his career. His early start, debut EP”never scared to lose,” and first mixtape have showcased not only his dedication, but his versatility on the mic.
Often collaborating with fellow North Jersey rappers, Tfemi released his first mixtape “Goat Mode” on February 2nd, 2018. He has hinted at a sequel to the tape, as well as lineup of collab tapes. Tfemi has dropped a couple of singles since his mixtape released, but the one that seems to stick with the fans is his single “wonderful”. This solo effort was released on September 7th, 2018, and its a track that shows his versatility on the mic. From his melodies, to the lyrics, this seems to be “the song” that can take him to a new level. Late October in 2016 Tfemi teased his mixtape “barter79” but has yet to be released ever since. In September 2018 Tfemi announced the tape would be dropping soon.
