The Suede Hello

Biography:

The Suede Hello is NYC based rock duo Jonathan Rosado & Nicolette Wilkey. Starting out as humble veterans of the underground DIY scene, the pair began recording music together in a budget home studio environment, focused on improvisation and a stripped down singer-songwriter approach. Originally bonding over a shared fascination with the timeless pop music of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as golden-age Hollywood films and the Manhattan visual art legacy, they set out with a definitive goal of pushing long-held cultural traditions to the cutting edge of the modern world. Now 3 years later, they have managed to manifest a sound that is both a breath of fresh air and instantly recognizable. Through a prolific trail of self released albums, cultivating an online esoteric following (of like-minded androgynous hippie types,) and an uncompromising sense of youthful perspective, the two are currently experiencing a light-speed rise to Gen-Z underground notoriety.
