Maggie Brewer - Biography
Magdalene Diann Brewer, (professionally known as Maggie Brewer), is a 17 year old alternative pop/rap artist. Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas and raised in Vilonia, Arkansas, Maggie is known for his small following on the video sharing app, TikTok. Maggie identifies as a pansexual transgender man and struggles with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD, (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), all of which he openly discusses in his music.
Maggie’s always been a singer, siting Melanie Martinez, Penelope Scott, Lzzy Hale,
Troye Sivan, Lady Gaga, and TLC as key inspirations behind his sound. He also notes his father his Joseph (Joey) Lynn Brewer, who was a rock/metal musician before his death in 2016.
In September of 2019, Maggie released his debut self-produced experimental track titled “c.l.b.” to YouTube. This followed the releasing of other singles such as “Suislide” (featuring JJ Hayre) and “Paper Strawz”, and then his 5 song extended play “Break My Heart And I’ll Break Your Guitar Strings” in 2020. Maggie remains active in the music scene as a growing musician present day.
