PiNKII - Biography
PiNKII (Natalia Castro) is an American artist with strong influences from Japanese pop culture and anime. Her music is a mix of Techno, J-POP, and modern Hip Hop. After living in Japan, she has become fluent in the language and occasionally adds Japanese lyrics to her songs. Throughout her stay in Japan, she recorded songs in Japanese & English, DJ’d at top nightclubs establishments, and found a passion for editing videos after starting her Japanese youtube channel. Her creativity and aesthetic are recognizable in her videos, and within her Bubblegum Trap music.
PiNKII grew up in a small town and decided to become a Japanese idol in high school. After moving to Japan and accomplishing that goal, she had realized that she was too eccentric for the “squeaky clean” image pushed on girls in this subculture. She started DJing Trap Music in clubs across Tokyo and even created a name for herself on her Japanese YouTube Channel
