〈Intro〉
Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah

〈Verse 1〉
Wouldn't have wasted my time
And could've saved the pick-up line
Didn't have to go buy your drinks that night
Or go and ask for your number
Wait a week to call ya
Or wait to meet your mother
I wonder

〈Pre-Chorus 1〉
What if we skipped the wait
The fancy dinner dates
And all the whole month holidays yeah
Skip ten anniversaries
To get down on one knee
What if I knew in time you'd leave me

〈Chorus〉
What if
We never waited
And skip a couple pages
What if we made
Long story short
End all the awkward stages
And honeymoon phases
We could've made
Long story short

〈Post-Chorus〉
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Long story short

〈Verse 2〉
I'd say go see where she's from
Then wait a year as a rule of thumb
Before you can call it love
Our love oh god
We'd say let's just take it slow
Say to see where it goes
What if I would've known
When I said hello

〈Pre-Chorus 2〉
I would've skipped the wait
The moving to my place
Pretend to love your friends I hate
Skip years of little fights
Sun-drunk and Friday nights
Why did you wait to say goodbye

〈Chorus〉
What if
We never waited
And skip a couple pages
What if we made
Long story short
End all the awkward stages
And honeymoon phases
We could've made
Long story short

〈Post-Chorus〉
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Long story short
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Long story short

〈Bridge〉
The more I think about it
All those conversations we had
〈.?.〉
Or once you looked back you would not like their dad
〈.?.〉 grandma and grandpa
Think about it
All those conversations we had

And what if
We never waited
Girl why did you cut
Long story short

〈Chorus〉
End all the awkward stages
And honeymoon phases
We could've made
Long story short

〈Post-Chorus〉
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Long story short
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Mmm mmmmmmmm
Long story short

VOILÀ - Biography

“Refreshing,” “Romantic,” and “Relatable” are a few of the terms used to describe L.A.- based pop/rock act VOILÀ. Gus Ross and Luke Eisner, respectively from London and Wisconsin – combine authentic production, emotive vocals and magnetic lyricism as a duo.

Ross started out busking around London, which led to playing shows in London’s infamous West End: even performing for the Queen. He incorporates “raw emotion and old school jazz,” in his vocals. He is fascinated by the technicality of music and handles production.

On the other side of the world, Eisner’s passion for music came through lyricism: fascinated by timeless literature, he fronted bands in the midwest scene. “I strive to include at least one tattoo-able phrase in every song we write,“ says Eisner, who also maintains a professional modeling career, which helps craft the duo’s aesthetic.

VOILÀ started 2018 as one of BBC Introducing Solent’s “Ones to Watch.” With millions of streams on their music to date, their singles “Hundredth Second Chance” and “Lately” continue to grow. After success on Spotify and BBC radio, the band drew eminent praise from the likes of Billboard, Pandora, and more.

They have supported the likes of Kesha, The Fray, X Ambassadors, Flume and, Martin Garrix and their new single, “Don’t,” debuted on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist at #19. With their ambitious spirit, impressive dedication, and undeniable charm – VOILÀ look set for Wembley.
