КОВБОЙ ДЖАНКИС , канадская альтернативная кантри-рок-группа. Первоначально называлась Hunder Project и была создана в 1979 в Торонто. В состав группы входили гитарист Майкл Тимминс (р. 21 апреля 1959, Монреаль, Канада) и басист Алан Антон, настоящее имя Алан Ализойводик (р. 22 июня 1959, Монреаль). Позже они сформировали британскую экспериментально-инструментальную группу Germinal, которая затем была переименована в группу с привлекающим названием Cowboy Junkies.
