Beverly Jayne is renowned as a phenomenal performer with a distinctive unique vocal style. Her song writing is powerful, her stage presence is unforgettable.
Hailed as one of the great female rock singers in South Africa, Beverly Jayne has made her mark fronting SA band Concussion Girl (most noted for the saucy single "Tie me up" featured on worldwide release horror movie).
This album somehow straddles the line between keeping fresh and feeling strangely reminiscent of the songs that changed the role of women in rock in the early 90's. The lyrics are raw, honest and instantly relatable.
When her debut solo album "Walk Away" was officially on the 28th of March it had already received airplay on 33 South African radio stations and 16 international stations as well as performed on 4 TV stations. More recently songs from the album have been regularly heard on one of SA's favourite TV shows.
