Cataract - Биография

Изначально нацеленная на хардкор швейцарская группа Cataract довольно быстро склонилась к более тяжёлой, металлической стороне музыки и стала играть почти чистый металкор в духе Hatebreed и Heaven Shall Burn.
Дебютный альбом Golem был выпущен в 2000 году на лейбле Ferret Records и был довольно успешен - группу стали хорошо узнавать не только в Европе, но и в Америке. После этого команда сменила фронтмена и отправилась в турне по Штатам.
В 2003 году свет увидела вторая пластинка The Great Days of Vengeance.
