Electric President - Биография

Electric President - музыкальный дуэт из Флориды, которые образовали в 2003 году Ben Cooper и Alex Kane. Оба участника выступали в группе Helicopter Project, после распада которой решили работать вместе над новым проектом. Ben Cooper также является участником группы Radical Face, Iron Orchestra, и Mother’s Basement. Все песни записаны в доме у Бена, который оборудовал там студию.
Первый анонимный альбом Electric President вышел в начале 2006 года под названием «The Pot Stirrer». Дебютный альбом группы под названием «Electric President» появился на передовом немецком лейбле Morr Music в январе 2006 года и представлял собой занимательную смесь фолка, дримпопа, idm и даже наверно хип-хопа и построка. За ним в июне этого же года вышли две семидюймовки «You Have the Right to Remain Awesome, Volume 1» и «You Have the Right to Remain Awesome, Volume 2». Последний на сегодня альбом «The Violent Blue» (возможно, лучший в дискографии) увидел свет в феврале 2010 года. Выпустил его на сей раз не Morr Music, артистами которого Electric President были без малого 4 года, а небольшой, но интересный около-хип-хопный американский лейбл Fake Four Inc.
