Sea Wolf - Биография

Sea Wolf - это indie-folk группа созданная Alex Brown Church которая организовалась в из Лос-Анджелесе, штат Калифорния . Church закончил киношколу NYU и был одним из основателей группы "Irving" в 1998 году. Многие из песен, которые он написал для "Irving" не соответствовали стилю группы и так Church начал выступать как Sea Wolf приглашая для поддержки местных музыкантов из Лос-Анджелеса с ними же записал и демо-запись в Сиэтле с продюсером Phil Ek (Band of Horses, The Shins, Fleet Foxes). Sea Wolf подписали контракт с Dangerbird Records в 2007 году и выпустила Ep "Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low" и чуть позже полноформатный дебютный альбом "Leaves In The River".

22 сентября 2009 года, был выпущен второй альбом "White Water, White Bloom" на все том же Dangerbird Records. Альбом продюсировал Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Monsters of Folk, M. Ward) в своей студии в Омахе. Sea Wolf так же написали песню "Song of the Magpie" для аудиокниги Augusten Burroughs’ "A Wolf at the Table". Берроуз спросил Морской волк Алекс Браун церкви, чтобы прочитать книгу и отвечать с оригинальной песней. Морской волк также написал песню под названием «Фиалка час» в 2009 году на второй части серии фильмов Сумерки, Новолуние .
