〈Intro〉
You always compare athletes to rappers
So
At this very time
This how I'm feelin' right now

〈Verse 1〉
'Bout damn time Staten Island got some bodies young that's up and comin' (Hey)
Everything I say, this shit I breathe, I ain't gotta go apart from nothin' (Nah)
〈.?.〉 Staten Island, I'm in next to come up
You Eli and I'm Peyton, man, and I'm way better, brother
〈.?.〉 records that forever hated (Woo)
Shout-out again 'cause y'all would never make it
Left the home team for chances to get farther thinkin'
That you were LeBron and end up bein' Tiki Barber
Put on for my city, my ambitions high and mighty
Last time Staten witnessed this was with Wu-Tang in the early 90s
Back in the day, ain't tried to demand me, tried to degrade me, tried to despise me
Now the commercial from Verizon puttin' my whole cities behind me (Ayy)
And I'm back up on my bullshit
Spit sick, got my clique sick
I live comfortable with my penmanship
Try to front on me and you guess
Put that on my infit that I rip sick 'cause I live
〈.?.〉 mobile with 〈.?.〉 givin' you niggas the business
Feel like I'm K Durant to these haters
My city's all on my back, put the all into all I'm makin'
My city ain't witnessed that since way back then with Gaby Peyton
I'm one of the league's greatest, the rated that's underrated
〈Chorus〉
God, I feel like I'm the greatest (I'm the greatest)
I'm the bomb (I'm the bomb)
Underrated, shoot for star
Superstar, for my city, I'ma ball out
Superstar, for my city, I'll go all out

〈Interlude〉
You, you the new buddy
Who's gonna hit his hardest life
But it ain't about how hard ya hit
It's about how hard you can get hit
And keep movin' forward
How much can take to keep movin' forward

〈Verse 2〉
Scrubbin' out my rookie year
Had to make a major change
〈.?.〉 in the passion, now I average thirty every game
〈.?.〉 greater vents of agression
Ball analyst, shots election
That's when the progression came
Couple players dropped, my new team wasn't basically
Their team, they practiced faithfully which made them do as great as me
MVP times three
Cities behind me
Ain't good enough for New York, retire with I3
Last year was a ninety-three, now I'm ready, ninety-seven, eighty-three on speed
And they ate on threes and my lock on D
Can't let another dude get a shot off me
Slim dunks, everybody got those
Everybody knows it's my show, playin' every game
I'm Jordan of the day and age bonus goin' for seven ranks
Playin' better under pressure, dog, you'll never score
You built that houses with your bricks and I'm the wreckin' ball
Practice makes perfect, that's if you playin' average
Even my average plays are perfect, so why should I have to practice? I'm the greatest
〈Chorus〉
God, I feel like I'm the greatest (I'm the greatest)
I'm the bomb (I'm the bomb)
Underrated, shoot for star
Superstar, for my city, I'ma ball out
Superstar, for my city, I'll go all out

〈Outro〉
Hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey
Hey, hey, go

Tyrone Briggs - Biography

Tyrone Briggs
Sometimes a talented artist comes along who has the skills to give the legends a run for their money. Staten Island rapper Tyrone Briggs may just be that artist.

Tyrone first began to garner national attention in 2014 when his song ‘Spartacus’ was featured on Sirius XM’s Shade 45 by DJ KaySlay & Tony Touch. Unable to ignore his vicious delivery and songwriting ability, hip-hop taste-makers like XXL, Hot 97 Who’s Next, The Source, Respect Magazine and others began to feature his music. In 2015, Briggs opened for Nas and Drake at Irving Plaza during NBA All-Star Weekend, after winning the Sprite “Thirst for the Boroughs” competition and beating out every artist, from every borough in New York City.

A year later, he released his first EP, “Victorious”, which included songs like ‘Champion’, ‘Get On Up’, and the title track ‘Victorious’ which have been featured in hundreds of television shows, films, movies and online projects. Numerous brands, networks and professional teams including Reebok, Air Jordan, FOX, ESPN, Cadillac, WWE, Monday Night Football, Heineken, Under Armour, Fan Duel, LG, Riot Games, the Utah Jazz, Saucony, CBS Sports, MTV, WGN, State Farm and more have licensed songs from “Victorious”. In 2018, he was tapped by the world-famous Madison Square Garden arena to star in a series of TV commercials to promote the Big East men’s basketball tournament.

Tyrone is planning to release his forthcoming EP “Underdog” later this year and is poised to show the world he is anything but the underdog when it comes to his elite musical talent.
