This is a brand new one, I wrote this like a month ago on a flight
It's called "Big Old Jet"

Flyin' high at thirty thousand miles
Eatin' salty pretzels while I'm seated by the aisle
The woman I'm in love with is on my mind
It's no big deal, I'm flyin' for like the thousandth time
When that plane starts shakin' like an Etch-a-Sketch erasin'

And you go from relaxin' to the opposite of that shit
And you wonder if you'll ever make it home

The turbulence was worse than I've ever felt
The plane dropped, the lights went out and all the people screamed and yelled
I'm glad I told my sweet love that I loved her in that last text
And I'm hopin' that won't be the last text from me that she ever gets

But to sit there and just hold on to your seat
And I'm not one for prayin' but I found myself sayin'

Those two minutes felt like an hour
But the pilot finally regained power
He got on the intercom and said "We're in the clear"

He also felt that fear

Couples kissed, strangers hugged and everybody clapped their hands
We were happy that everything had went right
Speaking of which
Shoutout to Orville and Wilbur for the miracle of flight
When that plane starts twitchin' like it's havin' withdrawal symptoms
You realize how fragile we all are
I left the airport quickly and my girl was there to get me
And I never been so happy to see her car
