Питтсбурская Городская Газета назвала их «возможно, самой главной важной командой для периода возрождения анархо-панка в 90-е годы». В своих песнях группа смешивала пропаганду прямого действия в традициях анархо-панка начала 80х годов с новым более тяжелым звучанием. Многие их композиции посвящены правительству, капитализму, сексизму, правам животных, смертной казни, религии и другим противоречивым темам. Havoc Records заявляют что выпущенный в 1994 году 7» «Fuck Nazi Sympathy» является наиболее продаваемой записью, выпущенной на этом лейбле с более чем 20 000 проданных копий. Также Aus Rotten известны благодаря самой долгой песне в стиле краст(And Now Back To Our Programming… (15:53) ). В 1998 году прошел короткий японский тур группы.

В середине 90х группа делает перерыв, во время котрого Дэйв вместе с Энди из Антифлага основал Human Investment, а Кори и Эрик создали Doomsday Parade. Команда прекратила существование в начале 2001 года, а ее участники создали Caustic Christ, а позже Вehind Enemy Lines.
