〈Verse 1〉
A thousand centuries
The oldest tombs we’ve seen
Have dust from ancient flowers
I know some of the names
That will mark my grave
And some I haven’t heard yet

〈PreChorus 1〉
Let me be remembered
For what I loved
For anything I was

〈Chorus〉
Someone will find the paint
We left across this cave
And know that we existed
And struggled to be brave and seen and not alone
They’ll never know our names
But thеy’ll touch our handprints on the wall

〈Verse 2〉
We could retracе our steps
Spend all the time that’s left
With our shoes in our own footprints
Or we could cut the thread
And strike off ahead
The labyrinth is endless
〈PreChorus 2〉
There’s nothing else we can be
But what we are
So laugh against the dark

〈Chorus〉
Someone will find the paint
We left across this cave
And know that we existed
And struggled to be brave and seen and not alone
They’ll never know our names
But they’ll touch our handprints on the wall

〈Chorus〉
Someone will find the paint
We left across this cave
And know that we existed
And struggled to be brave and seen and not alone
They’ll never know our names
But they’ll touch our handprints on the wall
